Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Kaun mobile application and this website (together, the "Service") operated by Kaun ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Kaun, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Kaun is a meal planning app that helps you save recipes, plan meals, generate grocery lists, and cook. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. Kaun is intended as a planning tool — not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Always follow safe food handling practices and consult qualified professionals for dietary or health concerns.

Kaun is free to download for core features, including recipes, meal planning, grocery lists, cook mode, and sharing. Free use may include limits (such as on templates, grocery lists, or URL imports). We may introduce optional paid subscriptions such as Kaun Plus. When subscriptions are available, pricing, billing, and renewal terms will be shown in the app before purchase and are handled by the App Store or Google Play.

You retain ownership of recipes, meal plans, and other content you create in Kaun. By default, that content is stored on your device. If you enable sync or sharing, you grant us the limited rights needed to store and transmit that content for those features. You are responsible for the content you create and share. Do not use Kaun unlawfully, attempt to reverse engineer or disrupt the app, or share material that infringes someone else's rights.

Kaun may include starter recipes, links to external websites, or recipe content imported from URLs you provide. We do not guarantee the accuracy, safety, or completeness of third-party or imported content. Share links you send to others are your responsibility; anyone with a link may be able to view the shared content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use Kaun for free.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Kaun after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle information including product analytics and crash reporting.
